In Depth Market Knowledge

Despite the majors such as Samsung, Panasonic, BYD, CATL being in the space, it is still predicted that there will be a shortfall of batteries, as the forecast for Li-Ion batteries is in the range of 1000+GWh/annum by 2030.

In North America there are 3 identified operations aiming to produce 50+GWh/annum

Electric Vehicles and Energy Storage will be major industries

Regulations continue to support climate change

There have been no significant Canadian entrants to date

Canada is a leader in the clean energy movement and could have a demand of 40+GWh/annum

The Opportunity

LIBCAN is building a 15 GWh Li-Ion battery factory to optimize production costs.

IPO opportunities for funding and exit with potentially significant returns.

Consortium of interested parties and investors to drive this project.

Potential for supplying Micro-grid solutions to Northern Canada and elsewhere.

End to end LIB cell supply chain, sourcing the raw materials, associated technologies and components to ensure optimum pricing is already in place.

A Canadian Opportunity

Lithium-ion battery performance and cost is now at an inflection point, where we will see major disruption with traditional technology. New and exciting markets have emerged via transport electrification (BEV’s) & Energy Storage Systems (ESS) for both residential & commercial applications. ESS paired with renewables like solar, wind and hydro are now technically and commercially viable options for significantly increased grid stability.

Supplying the Canadian market, with Canadian made, next generation batteries, will offer energy independence and security of supply.

Further, a lower cost, energy storage system, will benefit potential clients presently off the grid or in remote locations.
